This project utilized Revit and Lumion to design a residential home with an underlying mid-century modern emphasis based on design research about the mid-century modern style.
FURNITURE PLAN, NTS
This project was a first practice in using Revit to develop plans, including floor plans, elevations, and section drawings. This project was also a first practice in using Lumion to render drawings from Revit.
Loosely based on the mid-century modern design aesthetic, this home incorporates clean lines, floor-to-ceiling storefront windows, an open floor concept, and pops of color that contrast the otherwise neutral palette, all of which are resemblant of the mid-1900s.
The curved ceiling was an additional development to the more traditional rectilinear forms of mid-century modern buildings.
